From the Small-Screen to the Big-Screen

The Nintendo Switch version of Super Mega Space Blaster Special Turbo takes advantage of some of the console’s amazing features. The game can be played in handheld mode, table-top mode, and TV mode. This means that you can blast those aliens on the train in handheld mode and seamlessly continue your space blasting on your 1080p TV once back at home.

Whether in handheld mode or on a full-HD TV the game’s title screen always looks good

2 Players, One Joy-Con Each

The game supports 2 player local cooperative and competitive play with a single set of Joy-Cons. This allows you to use the Joy-Cons in horizontal mode to control the space blasters. Because of the lack of a right-stick on a single Joy-Con if a space blaster has turrets its turrets will not be controllable and will always shoot forward adding another fun way to play. The game supports the Nintendo Switch Pro controller and can be played 2 player with any combination of Joy-Cons and Pro controllers. When using a Pro controller or two Joy-Cons together turrets will be controllable so selecting a space blaster with a turret turns the game into a twin stick shooter.

Feel My Rumble

The game makes use of the Nintendo Switch’s HD Rumble feature bringing haptic feedback to the game. This means that the vibrations feel amazing giving different sensations for explosions, lasers shots, and getting hit. The game also supports the Nintendo cloud save feature. This allows Nintendo Switch Online members to back-up there game saves to the cloud.

Exclusive Space Blasters All Round

Both the Nintendo Switch™ and the PS4™ versions of Super Mega Space Blaster Special Turbo have console exclusive space blasters to unlock. The Switch’s exclusive ship is quite unusual with two offset turrets and a front cannon. The turrets are both controlled via the right stick (if you have one) and all guns fire at once. This means that the ship has some serious fire power. We’ll leave the rest of the ship’s attributes for you to discover as you progress through the game.

A Super Mega Massive Game

As well as all the Nintendo Switch™ specific features the game also has loads of new content. With 5 game modes, 15 space blasters to unlock, a massive shop, upgradable power-ups, warp-engines, more music, and loads more – Super Mega Space Blaster Special Turbo truly is the definitive version of the easy to play hard to master space blaster.
